She is super angry about being removed from the nesting box and is ignoring me. She has been in broody jail for four full days and shows no signs of giving up. I’ve done something terrible. Something beyond forgiveness. Something I may regret forever. I have removed a broody Silkie from her nest of nothing and asked her to drink some water. This cutie surprised me by hopping out from under my chicken supervising chair. She’s about the size of my hand. The mother, Bun Bun, was on the other side of the fence eating a fallen tomato.
